01Acceptance of terms

By using Orange, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not download, install, or use the application.

02Service description

Orange is a private network management tool built with Rust, designed to help you bridge home, office, and cloud networks. Orange runs entirely on your local device and does not operate any internet services, relay servers, or proxy infrastructure. The application provides:

• WireGuard tunnel management and configuration.
• HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 gateway support, plus Trojan and Shadowsocks upstreams.
• Advanced DNS management (UDP/TCP/DoT/DoH) with Fake-IP.
• TUN gateway and flexible routing rules.
• Private mesh networking, with the control and relay server deployed by you.
• Local diagnostics: metrics, request traces, and health status.
• Available on iOS and iPadOS today. macOS and Linux versions are planned and are not yet released.

Orange acts as a local orchestration tool. All network connections are established directly between your device and the endpoints you configure. Orange does not relay, inspect, or store your network traffic. Orange does not sell, provide, or recommend proxy nodes, VPN exits, or hosted mesh services; you supply your own upstreams and your own mesh server.

03Licensing & pricing

Orange offers separate products for Desktop and iOS, each with its own pricing model.

Desktop and iOS are separate products. A Desktop license does not include iOS access, and vice versa. Desktop licenses are one-time purchases that include future updates within the same major version. iOS subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account.

Neither product includes proxy nodes, VPN exits, third-party upstream resources, Orange-hosted control or relay services, or any metered traffic allowance — none of those exist. What you purchase is the client that manages your own infrastructure.

The mesh server is distributed free of charge and does not require a Desktop license or an iOS subscription. It may be deployed for personal, professional, and internal business use. Public availability is not open source: redistribution, rebranding, and offering the binary as a third-party hosted service are not permitted without written permission, and no service level is offered for software you host yourself.

04Trials

The iOS subscription includes no free trial period. Downloading the app neither costs anything nor starts anything: you may import, edit, validate and export configurations without subscribing at all. Orange asks you to subscribe only when you first start the network. Trial and refund terms for Desktop, if any, will be published with the Desktop release.

Without an active subscription or a valid license, Orange does not start or maintain the network. Your configurations remain fully accessible either way — you can continue to open, edit, validate, export and back them up, and nothing is deleted or locked.

05Subscription & auto-renewal (iOS)

The iOS subscription is billed annually. Until September 30, 2026 (inclusive) it is offered at a promotional $19.99 per year, down from the standard $39.99. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.

It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal charge is applied within the 24 hours before that period ends, at the then-current annual price. Promotional pricing applies only to the period stated on the App Store purchase sheet; renewals are charged at the standard price in effect at that time.

You can view, manage or cancel the subscription at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period continues until it expires. Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policies — we cannot issue them on Apple's behalf.

06User data & privacy

All data created within Orange — including network configurations, tunnel profiles, DNS rules, and routing policies — remains entirely under your control on your local device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or access any of your personal data or network configurations. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

07Acceptable use

You agree to use Orange only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for your network configurations and ensuring they comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not use Orange to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
• Infringe upon the rights of others or facilitate unauthorized access to networks or systems.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application, except to the extent that this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the application or your license.
• Interfere with or circumvent the application's licensing mechanisms.

08Intellectual property

Orange and its original content, features, user interface, and underlying technology are owned by DigitsFn, LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your license grants you the right to use the application, not to own its intellectual property. Your personal configurations and data created within the application remain your property.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orange and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, network connectivity, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the application.

Orange is a network management tool that configures connections between your devices and endpoints you specify. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or performance of third-party servers, VPN endpoints, or proxy services you choose to configure within Orange.

10Disclaimer of warranties

Orange is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the application is at your sole risk.

11Modifications to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the application or our website. Your continued use of Orange after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12Termination

You may terminate your use of Orange at any time by deleting the application and, if applicable, cancelling your iOS subscription. We reserve the right to suspend or revoke your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the application ceases, but provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

13Disputes

If something goes wrong, please write to contact@orangenet.app first. Most issues are resolved that way, and faster than through any formal process.

Your mandatory rights are unaffected. Where the consumer protection laws of your country of residence grant you rights that cannot be waived by agreement — including the right to bring proceedings in your local courts — those rights continue to apply in full.

14Apps obtained through the App Store

The following applies when you obtain Orange from Apple's App Store. It exists because Apple requires it, and it does not reduce any right you have under the rest of these Terms.

• These Terms are between you and DigitsFn, LLC only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Orange and its content.
• Your licence to use Orange is limited to a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Orange.
• If Orange fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Orange, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to Orange — including product liability claims, any claim that Orange fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that Orange infringes that party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
